Where Have All The Owls Gone? Gone To......
All but Hootie and Lorena.
One of these days I'll have to tell you the whole story. But not now. It is too raw in my mind to set down on paper. Hell, I wish they had had the courtesy to use paper. No, that's not fair. After all, they are God's creatures, too. Even if they seemed something else.
But they are gone. All of them, except Hootie and Lorena. And they are not getting along very well. I hope they get it worked out between them.
I guess it was the combination of cold weather and not enough to eat that moved them on. I don't know whether they went back to Georgia or moved on somewhere else. From what little I could gather, probably the latter. I don't think they left Georgia all of their own accord.
But that is a story for another day.
Getting hungry, now. Think I'll go get me a few more of those wings.

Dad, as Hannah Montana would say---"GET SOME HELP!!!!!"
I haven't seen them in Georgia. "Get some help".. Now that's funny.
I guess everyone that comments about the owls (and on Mr. Chinchilla's blog) needs to get help too.
Ah, everybody needs help. Well, Hootie stayed but Lorena is now gone, somewhere warmer, I guess. Before she left there were two generations born, the middle one bred and now I have Hootie and Hootie II. Makes it a little strange to talk about the both if them. Like when I tell my cat to get the owls off the chimney--"Hey, Scruffy, get Hootie and Hootie II off the screen." He just looks at me like I've said something strange. But we're getting there.
